About Me

My name is Brenda came from Brazil to improve my English and experience a new culture. I´m living in D8 with my boyfriend. I’m a responsible, patient, dedicated, affectionate, organized, friendly, careful, communicative, funny, honest and likeable person. I´m a university student Nursing in Brazil. I have experience working with seniors. I've worked in a nursing home in my city, Rio de Janeiro, and worked with elderly care in hospitals during the faculty practice. I´m a dedicated student, hard worker and very active person. Major activities involved: Identify the changes that occur due to ageing and needs that may be presented with this; Explore potential changes in mobility and skin integrity; Explore increased susceptibility to certain conditions e.g: UTI’s, heart failure, incontinence; Identify how staff can support clients as they age from a holistic perspective; Administration of medications. I believe this experience will teach me a lot, because it will something that I will take for rest of my personal and professional life.
