Here at HiredHelp.ie we give you the tools to help you obtain information about potential employees, in order to protect yourself off and online (who's a better judge than you?).
Identity Verification
For obvious reasons it's good to be sure you're not dealing with a fraud. Always obtain proof of address and identity from any worker before they commence work for you. If a worker has obtained a creditcard identity check from us you can be sure that we have a paper trail to a bank account at the very least. If a stolen credit card is used in conjunction with any of the profiles here at HiredHelp our security response policy will be triggered.
Burglary
Giving a stranger access to your home shouldn't be taken lighty. Keep all keys safe and only ever give someone a key to a lock that can be easily changed. There is every possibility that the relationship you have with your worker could sour and leave you in a position where you can't trust them anymore. Even if you feel that you trust your worker to hold a key for your house it's impossible to predict a situation arising in their life that could leave them wanting to make a quick buck, ie. burgle the safest target they can find, your house.
It's well worth noting that home insurance doesn't cover theft/damage when there's no evidence of breaking in.
Inadequate work
Someone has created an account with my details on Hiredhelp. There could be a number of reasons for this, including simply human error. This occasionally happens when a poster mis-types an email address when signing up.
Please report the problem to us and we will resolve it.
Brand name spoofing/phishing:
