Verification

You're probably wondering what all this verification stuff is about.

In a nutshell, verification is our way of telling potential employers how trustworthy you are. Our nifty computer code combines a few different bits from your service provider profile, crunches some numbers and then applies all this information to determine how high you rank on our search listings.

Verification is important to you. Simply put, service providers with a high Verification rank get more jobs. They appear at the top of search results when hirers are browsing prospective employees.

So what can I do to increase my Verification? I hear you say! The following steps will speed up your verification's journey to the top

Step 1: Complete Your Profile

Tell us lots about yourself!

A wordy personal statement lets a hirer know what your skills, talents and relevant experiences are. The information written in the personal statement should highlight in a clear and concise manner what you, as a service provider, can bring to a hirer's home. It is worth spending a little bit of time putting thought into what you write. It could be the deal breaker if a hirer is deciding between a few different people in an area.

A picture is worth a thousand words. How many do you think a photograph is worth? Uploading a photograph will give your profile a lot more personality. Additionally, a hirer is more likely to click a photograph when browsing through search results.

Step 2: Identity Verification

We charge a small administrative fee (€4.99) to your credit or debit card. This establishes a traceable link to your identity. If you don't have your own credit card, don't worry; get permission to use a family member or friend's credit card. By establishing a verifiable link to a credit card and the associated bank account this gives peace of mind to the hirer when leaving their home, possessions or children in your care.

Step 3: Invite your Friends!

Let your friends know about us and get them to sign up. Note Your Trust Ranking will go up and both you and your friends will get more work. By bringing your friends on board you're exhibiting greater trustworthiness. Greater links to your offline life lets hirers know that you are not some random stranger from the internet, but instead a real person with a real life and real friends.

Step 4: Positive Reviews

Encourage your employer to give you feedback on any work you have done for them. Reviews are a great indicator to potential employers how well you do your job and whether you can be trusted.
