About Me

My name is Cheryl and I am 19 years old. I have worked as a pet carer for many people, ensuring their pets get the best care and attention when they are not there. I have worked with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and loads more animals. I have walked dogs at Dogs Trust charity as a volunteer for about 4 years now and I am extremely interested in animals. I have worked with animals with different disabilities and ensured they get the special care and attention they need. I have two dogs, a rabbit and 2 hamsters myself, and I have always had a passion for animals. I did my work experience in a vetinary clinic which really opened my eyes to the different situations that animals go through and the importance of good care and finding someone to help who genuinely cares and isn't just 'in it' for the money. I have taught a lot of dogs different tricks such as 'sit', 'lie down', 'roll over', 'kiss', 'leave it', 'heel', 'easy' and a lot more.
